Fan of the Dalmatian coast, I first toured Croatia, looking for a stone house to renovate, bringing together a number of important criteria: authenticity, natural surroundings, stunning sea views, pool -garden and privacy, easy access including from abroad. My criteria were found to be too high and I could not found this gem …. So I had to imagine, dream and make it. By the way, I added decoration and luxurious touch. I chose the Split-Trogir area in central Dalmatia, for its easy access to the north, to Sibenik, Zadar and Kornati Islands, but also to go south to the Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik. Split is Croatia’s second city, with all the necessary infrastructure, hospitals, supermarkets, combined with an historical and architectural inheritage that make the city center a feast for the eyes and palate. Trogir is the nearby medieval jewel of the Republic of Venice, the counterpart of Dubrovnik, only these two cities in Croatia have been declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
After visiting numerous sites, I fell in love with this hill for its untouched nature, its pheasants and hares, its crickets and its quietness, its breathtaking view of the sea, its ever changing color and highlights …
The villa has imposed itself, massive stones, ancient vaults, traditional tiles, interior decoration designed by Karine Mazeau, modernity and tradition mixed for the comfort and pleasure of its occupants. A pool of quality, thoughtful park, successful integration into a landscape of scrub and rock, close to Provencal or Corsican scrubland, to provide an environment of gentleness and calmness.
The villa completed in July 2014 will delight adults and children, peaceful oasis close to rich and vivid places, facing the splendid Adriatic sea.
A motivated team awaits you there, to welcome you, show you the villa and stay by you during your journey, whose success is our only priority.
Welcome to Villa Amarina Trogir!
